Connect to other teachers and join a global initiative. 

Use online wiki, web pages, skype and other capabilities for students to work globally.

Students from two different schools/countries draw a monster, then write a descriptive essay, with step by step instructions.  The paired up students reads the essay, and draws the monster.   Both pictures are posted with the essay to see how close the monsters look.
